Technical Project Manager (DoS) w/ Secret Clearance – Reston, VA

Our client is searching for a Technical Project Manager who will be responsible for implementing technology solutions leading a small team developing and implementing Enterprise Content Management solutions for our federal customers. The project manager possesses an understanding of managing consultancy relationships, being able to effectively interact with clients, management, and fellow team members. Proficient in managing small teamwork efforts ranging from mid-level to senior-level technical experts. The project manager will utilize modern industry standards and methodologies (i.e., agile, PIMBOK, CMMI, ISO 9001, etc.). Provides tactical recommendations to the government in order to affect improvements in processes, deliverables, and outcomes.

The project manager will demonstrate proficiency with technical components of Content Management Systems and IT systems integration. Proficient verbal and writing skills and authoring document deliverables. Demonstrates experience in project management utilizing industry standards and methodologies to efficiently manage work and resources. Provide strategic recommendations to the government that would improve organizational outcomes, missions, and deliverables.

Responsibilities:
• Provide project management support and consultation including the development of artifacts and documentation
• Monitors, tracks, and reports project milestones and deliverables
• Plan, evaluate, direct, track, coordinate, and analyze projects using MS Project
• Prepares ad-hoc reports and presentations for project status meetings using easily digestible visuals and graphical indicators using Microsoft Office applications such as Project, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint & OneDrive
• Manages meeting logistics and provides facilitation for small team meetings and events
• Oversight of project management processes such as risk management, change management, and release-management
• Prepare and present high-quality business and technically related documentation
• Aid government decision-makers in implementing information technology solutions, including geospatial technology specialization, surrounding ECM systems
• Understand how technologies integrate/interface with customers’ vision
Qualifications
Required Experience:
• Minimum 5+ years of specialized experience as Technical Project Manager
• Must have at least an Active Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree from accredited college in Business, Information Technology Systems, or equivalent certifications and experience
• Strong, persuasive communication skills; ability to clearly communicate technical ideas, whether to other technical peers or non-technical project managers or customers
• Experience managing project using Agile and scaled Agile methodologies

Preferred:
• PMP certification
• Scrum Master certification
• Experience supporting Federal Government clients
• Ability to obtain a Top Secret (TS) security clearance
• Implementation of Adobe Experience Manager solutions
