Administrative Specialist – On-site at Fort Belvoir, Virginia

Our government contracted client is seeking an Administrative Specialist to provide Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) to the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), Chemical and Biological Department, Warfighter Integration Division (RD CBW). The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support for the CB department level tasker management, reporting, records management, SharePoint site maintenance activities, and other support activities such as internal and external staff coordination.

Principal Duties

Manage and facilitate receipt, staffing, tracking, responses, and recording for external and internal taskers utilizing the DTRA task management system
Coordinate, collect, and assimilate scheduled and ad hoc department-level reports
Archive, communicate, and distribute materials as required
Collect, assemble, index, scan, electronically file, and maintain documents in shared folders and SharePoint libraries in the course of daily duties and in compliance with the DTRA Records Management Policy
Post, edit, distribute and maintain appropriate content for unclassified website/portals, while ensuring optimal accessibility, accuracy and retrieval
Coordinate and facilitate meetings, to include supporting through remote video and teleconferencing tools
Provide scheduling coordination for the CB/CBW office as required
Assist with standard operating procedure documentation, procedures, and methodologies, recommending improvements as appropriate
Develop new deliverables as needed based on operational requirements and following best practices for documentation and delivery

Requirements

DOD Secret level clearance
Minimum of 3 years’ experience with a BS, and experience in providing administrative support to senior-level Department of Defense or federal government staffs
Detail-oriented, self-starter with excellent communication and time management skills.
High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 tools, to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint
Ability to quickly learn to use new IT systems and software

Desired Qualifications

Knowledge of the DoD RDT&E policies, preferably with knowledge of the Joint CBDP organization
Experience using DoD tasker management information systems
Experience administering Intellink site
