Manager of Information Technology (IT Manager) – Corporate/In-house – Falls Church, VA

Our client is seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking candidate for the position of Manager of Information Technology (IT Manager). Reporting to the EVP of Operations, the IT Manager will possess technical expertise and provide operational leadership, planning, and management to all information technology areas. The IT Manager will be primarily responsible for interfacing with the client’s Technology Vendor community, and providing and managing technology policies, procedures, services, and infrastructure. The IT Manager will work collaboratively with leadership to develop effective strategies for integrating technology to further the client’s mission and client delivery.

The successful candidate will be a hands-on manager and will be working with an outsourced service provider for day-to-day technology support and service. Candidate must have the ability to develop and lead tactical and operational initiatives and will possess exceptional communication and customer service skills.
This position is full-time on-site at the client’s Headquarters in Falls Church, VA.

Primary Duties
• Act as a liaison between internal users and external service providers
• Manage IT Helpdesk Operations in concert with an external service provider
• Think analytically and creatively solve problems and drive process
• Provide basic systems training to staff, as necessary
• Provide inputs to capital and operational expenditure budgets
• Maintain inventory of the client’s enterprise and department-based software systems and subscriptions
• Create the governance structure / usage rules for standard enterprise-based software, in coordination with Management
• Assist development and implementation processes for the organizations IT systems
• Develop and implement continuity of operations plans
• Develop and maintain IT related policies and procedures
• Support multiple corporate sites, and a remote work environment
• Analyze IT infrastructure and systems performance to assess operating costs, productivity levels, upgrade lifecycles, and other metrics and needs
• Manage IT hardware and inventory cycles
• Oversee security of systems, networks, and enterprise information
• Ensure compliance with NIST and CMMC Requirements
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 / 27001
• Assist with internal control policy development and employee training and ensuring processes provide appropriate controls to support audits, compliance, and other regulatory needs
• Manage new IT projects including system upgrades and implementation
• Develop and manages relationships with external IT vendors and service providers
• Provide an enterprise view of interconnected business systems
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
• Minimum five years of experience managing IT functions
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related software
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent analytical and management skills as well as ability to handle complex situations and problem solving
• Knowledge of business operations, including effective budget development and vendor relationship management
Desired Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field
• Security clearance eligibility
• CompTIA certified in A+, Network+, Security+ (Any cyber security certification is a plus)
• Experience with Azure environment, GCC preferred.
• Experience with SharePoint Administration
• Experience with Deltek (or similar Federal ERP – Unanet, Microsoft Dynamics 365, etc.)
• Experience in network management, and design principles
• Familiarity with Human Capital Management Software (similar to cloud-based HCM Platforms – UKG Pro, iSolved, ADP Workforce Now)
• Experience in Federal Contracting
