Marpleh Baker

Founder and President, ESG

Over the past 16 years in the recruiting industry, Marpleh has distinguished himself as a leader in the staffing and consulting world in and around Washington, DC. He started his career in banking business development, and then discovered his true talent and passion for recruiting and staffing. Matching motivated professionals with companies who can make the most of their ambitions was a natural fit for his skills.

He transforms lives by guiding individuals toward new career paths and collaborating with companies that need their skills to achieve greater success. Today, they’re a thriving, well-regarded firms. Marpleh founded Extraordinary Solutions Group in 2010 to turn his passion into his career.

As a global talent acquisition consultant, he personally ensures that ESG provides best-in-class staffing support to every client. This includes identifying candidates with active security clearances for government contracting firms, as well as commercial clients across multiple industries.

Although he’s primarily focused in Virginia, Maryland, and the nation’s capital, Washington, DC; he also works with clients and places candidates across the U.S and overseas.

He becomes true partners with his clients – immersing himself in their processes and culture and working tirelessly to source candidates for difficult-to-fill positions.  Mr. Baker is a relentless communicator and demonstrates extraordinary loyalty and dedication to every client – no matter the size or prestige.

With this same spirit, he extends his outreach to serve those in need. As a benevolent volunteer, he actively participates in several Christian organizations. His volunteer work includes providing one-on-one résumé review coaching to job seekers, offering constructive suggestions to enhance resumés, and working directly with the homeless and impoverished in various communities to provide support and care.

Marpleh holds a bachelor’s degree in mass communications from Rider University in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. Go Broncs!
