Overview:
Our client is seeking a skilled Data Scientist to support automated GEOINT collection. The position revolves around performing multi-INT data integration and ABI centric analysis to detect adversarial activity and tip collection. Create and modify data science and visual programming tradecraft to support and streamline analysis tasks. Conduct research on emerging technologies and processes to be able to assess if they will be beneficial to the Collections Community. Create tools, capabilities and workarounds based off gap analysis on existing technologies and processes.
Key Responsibilities
Using JEMA (similar to tools like Alteryx and Tableau Prep) to ingest and analyze data through automated models.
Deploy Python and SQL to enhance models.
Data engineering and machine learning
Required Experience and Skills
Experience:
5+ years of relevant experience OR 2+ years with a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Geospatial Science).
Clearance:
This position requires a TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a CI polygraph.
Skills:
Proficiency in common geospatial software applications and tools, such as visual programming (JEMA, FADE/MIST, ECO/ETAS), Python, SQL, Git, GIMS, AWS Sagemaker, AWS Cloud, ESRI ArcGIS, statistics (descriptive, Bayesian), Markov-Chain modelling, TensorFlow, Linear Algebra, R, SAS, NLP.
Experience with GEOINT collection.
Deliverables:
Data driven forensic process to identify potential improvements in collection assignments.
