Job Title: Technical Security and Signals Countermeasures (TSSC) Analyst
Location: Bethesda, MD
Employment Type: Full-Time (2 FTE SMEs needed and one 1 FTE Senior needed, description is the same; only years’ experience is different) Final level will be determined upon the skills, education, and experience of selected candidate.

 

Overview:
Our client is seeking a skilled Technical Security and signals Countermeasures (TSSC) Analyst to support the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI).  The TSCM professional will establish an internal capability to assess and mitigate any technical/physical security concern related to personnel, facilities or information, to include technical support to CI and Insider Threat investigations.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain TSCM programs and capabilities. Tasks may include but are not limited to:

  • Conduct physical/technical assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation
  • Conduct Technical Surveillance Countermeasures inspections
  • Conduct TEMPEST surveys/assessments and recommend mitigations
  • Conduct acoustic testing to determine ICD 705 waiver requirements
  • Research and development of policy and instruction at Agency and ICD level
  • Evaluate and recommend medical device approval or mitigation strategy
  • Conduct radio frequency direction finding mission to identify unauthorized transmitting devices
  • Provide technical security SME input to designated IC working groups
  • Development and dissemination of workforce education for CI and Security

 

Required Experience and Skills

Experience:

Typically requires a BA degree and 8 – 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 – 10 years of prior relevant experience. Final level will be determined upon the skills, education, and experience of selected candidate

 

TSCM Certified with experience of TEMPEST assessments

Expert level of knowledge of Radio Frequencies, direction finding procedures, wireless communications, and general TSCM procedures and processes

General knowledge of counterintelligence investigations, insider threat operations, physical security and anti-terrorism requirements, cyber security, digital forensic and IT infrastructure

Minimum 5 year working with or in the IC

 

Clearance:

This position requires TS/SCI clearance with a CI poly.
